The Air Max 1 caught the eyes of many. In 1987 when the Air Max was introduced, people just wanted to squeeze the air unit to see whether or not their eyes were fooling them. The Nike Air Max 1 was the first of its kind and the official start to when Nike was taking over the running shoe market.
