Nike Air Max III ( yellow/ white / black)
Originally released in 1989 as the
Air Max II, the Air Max Light was intended as a successor to the Air Max. It weighed less than than the original, achieved by replacing the forefoot polyurethane midsole with one made from phylon. Marketed as a performance running shoe, the Light would eventually be overshadowed by the
Air Max III.

I doubt that I will ever return to thick-soled, heavily-padded running shoes. I bought these after reading a few pieces about barefoot running. I¡¯m not brave enough to go fully barefoot, but I understood that these shoes are a step in that direction. I love them. They are light, flexible, and extremely comfortable. I bought in the upper end of my size range, which is 10, and nailed it on the first try, so if you sometimes need to go up a half size, you should probably do so. As a runner, I¡¯m pretty light at 6¡¯0, 146 pounds, going 2-3 miles at about 7 minutes per. I don¡¯t know how they would be over long distances or for a larger person, but the Nike Free 5.0 is the most comfortable lace up shoe I¡¯ve ever worn.

They are very sleek looking and comfortable, according to my boyfriend. They are also very roomy and run true to fit. He loves them, and wears them all the time.
